The band was created in 1968 in London, England by Jimmy Page from the well-known band, the Yardbirds, and they called themselves the New Yardbirds. After the original band members of the Yardbirds quit the band, Jimmy page along with the band's bassist Chris Deja acquired the rights of the old Yardbirds band and formed the new hit group, which consisted of other highly talented artists and musicians, like Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones. They changed their name to Led Zeppelin in October 1968. They were signed on by Atlantic Records and were paid $200,000 in advance for the session. Their success is record breaking and they changed the face of Rock n’ Roll for centuries to
