In the article “Let Kids Run WIld Online” by Danah Boyd She is mainly talking about how parents should let their son or daughter use the internet without any surveillance. I get how the internet can be an easy way to encounter rapist ,terrorist ,sex offenders ,and what young people say “cat fish” in other words someone who pretends to be someone who they aren’t. There is a show on MTV where they find real people who have someone (catfish)who they try to investigate whether they might be legit or not. After the internet came out to a vast majority of people (around 2000’s) It has now been a cliche to say “be safe online”. You can’t really think for yourself if someone (most likely a parent) takes over control in this part of your life.
In the article the author quotes the famous quote “that which does not kill us makes us stronger”. That quote perfectly fits in my perspective essay because in the internet you need to learn from your mistakes to not keep doing it. Just like in life for example if you wake up for a job at 7 am sharp and get their tardy now you know you must wake up sooner. How they don’t know words hurt the internet makes you change your perspective to a cruel or having no manners. People change because there behind a computer screen and it is impossible to find them. This might seem bad because it might cause “cyber bullying” which in my behalf is the most foolish type of bullying there might be all you have to do to escape this is block them or turn off your phone. A good reason that this changes your perspective is makes you more confident talking to girls because it reduces the fear of getting turn down infront of everybody. If you get turn down literally no one knows and or
