Experiences defines, who we are, as individuals. As we go through our journey in life, our experiences of certain things, may change our perspective of certain aspects we know, or we’ll discover theses aspects. Experiences, in the end will always change our perspective of certain things.
As a child, born in a Mexican family Lettuce would introduce it to me whenever I eat tacos, burritos, and etc. But for me I didn’t like lettuce, in fact I never tried it. I didn’t like how lettuce looked or felt so I never tried it. In general lettuce looked nasty to me. Plus, lettuce was a vegetable so I wasn’t going to like it anyways. I think It wasn’t in telling freshmen year in high school when my sister and I went to go to Subway to get something to eat. I usually get a sub with meat and no vegetables. But my sister said “you better but some vegetable on your sandwich or I won’t get you food anymore.” At first I was critical, but I said “I need to break out of my shell, so what the heck.” I said “I would like… well some lettuce.” My sister said “more!” I said “fine! Can I also get cucumbers, red onions, and some banana peppers, you happy!” and when we got home, I was so scared of eating the sandwich I ordered, my sister really wanted to see my reaction. I’ve fallen in love with lettuce; from what I came from until now I’m still shocked how trying some new really opens your eyes to the world.
Experiences make us humans, and these experiences we learn and grow. Also experiences can change our perspective of certain, things too. As there are varieties of them out there. Many that will change our perspective, about things. Doing them will make you understand life more and to live to its fullness. No matter if it's small or big, experiences, makes life what life
