Lionville Middle School Journey Essay

“The journey doesn’t start at the beginning, but it begins at the end.” The last year I had at Lionville Middle School was only the start of my long career and I was properly prepared by all the teachers and staff that helped me on my journey. When I first arrived at Lionville Middle school, I was scared about the environment and it was the first time that I had to switch classes for every different subject. I had numerous friends from Lionville Elementary School that came to the Middle school with me and aided me in the tough transition to such a populous school. I did not transfer to this district so I was familiar with other students at the school from my neighborhood and my sporting events. My expectations of this school were for there to be an overflowing amount of homework and vigorous work, but when I attended this school for the first time, I realized that my predictions had been extremely incorrect. My homework and workload in elementary school was limited and I believed it to be different in middle school. I found out that the amount of work attained in middle school was not that much above that of elementary school, but with more advanced topics.

Austin. I think that my fellow classmates will agree with me when i say that Dr. Austin can take any math topic, and just explain it so that everyone will understand. I had many fun memories in Dr. Austin’s class like when I told him that if I got an A in every marking period and an A on the midterm I could just hand in the Final without even taking it and get an A. He thought this was an aspersion and threw his whiteboard marker at me that he was holding and told me that he would be so angry if I had not answered a single question on the final. Math has always been my favorite subject and I had much alacrity, so of course I would never just skip an entire statewide assessment, but it’s possible to still attain an A without completing
