Beowulf : An Epic Story

In Denmark they had a problem with a monster named Grendel that had come around. All the men had lured him in form all the noise they had been making. He had waited until they all fell asleep and made his move on the men. Grendel wasn't able to kill the king because he sat in the throne and had a divine power. The town needed some hero to save them, and to kill Grendel. Beowulf was notified by the king because of his strength and bravery. He had to travel by sea to get across to the little town. Beowulf defeated Grendel with his heroic powers. Grendel’s mother came upset that her son had been killed but beowulf had defeated her too. Beowulf became king for 50 years, but tragically died while fighting a dragon. A memorial tower had been build and Beowulf was buried with the treasure. Beowulf is an epic hero through his incredible strength loyalty, and his bravery.

Beowulf set a trap up to lure him into the mead hall so he could fight him. Beowulf ripped Grendel's arm off and Grendel’s mother came for revenge. Beowulf eventually went after the mother into the lake where no one else would even dare to go. The mother and Beowulf fought and fought when Beowulf finally killed her. After hours of being underwater people above left because they thought she had killed him, He cut off Grendel's head and took it with him back to the town. The head was so heavy it took four men to carry. Beowulf was crowned king for 50 years. When one day a dragon was disturbed by a thief, Beowulf had to fight the dragon who had bit his throat. He fought with his last breath when he died. The town build a memorial building for Beowulf and buried him and the treasure under it.
