The Trail of Lies There is a decision between believing in children and in adults but who will they choose is all in faith.The little Rascals daycare employees were accused of sexually abusing children in the 1980’s.There were four hundred different counts of the sexual abuse on twenty-nine kids. The indictments involved rape, sodomy, and intercourse in front of the children and with the children.This investigation was carried out to reveal how innocent the kids really were.The little rascals daycare case is a modern day witch hunt because it contains the elements of accused, accusers, physical and emotional suffering, persecution, and unexplained event. Mabry began a campaign of complaints about Little Rascals, and eventually Toppin became part of a web of gossip, speculation and accusation that came to include parents, police, therapists and prosecutors.these particular events was the start of the entire case because the two events were so close it raised suspicion to the way the daycare was ran.In conclusion there is still an unknown in whether or not the children were lying about the accusations they made towards the adults During the little rascals daycare case many of the parents and children suffered a great deal of physical and emotional suffering.Jane's four year-old son, who attended the day care.
