The Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a novel in which there are multiple themes that are displayed. Three themes that are recurring throughout the novel are civilization vs. savagery, loss of innocence and the nature of evil. These themes are illustrated continuously by several young boys regressive and aggressive behavior throughout the novel.
