UBUNTU, INTEGRITY, DIVERSITY, RESPECT FOR ENVIRONMENT, EXCELLENCE, RESPONSIBILITY
Ubuntu > Jack and Ralph shows Ubuntu in their own different way. Ralph is a people’s person. He wants all the other kids to be rescued and taken back home safely by enforcing rule and survival plans for the well-being of those who cannot survive on their own, for example the littluns. Ralph assign task to the biguns to build shelter, collect fresh water from there island streams and make sure that the fire is kept burning on top of the mountain in other for them to be rescued.
Jack on the other hand shows his humanity by hunting for all the school boys because he knew even though they were stranded, food was the only thing that will keep them alive until they

He knew that rules and staying civilized was the only thing that will keep them safe, fed and sheltered. In the book he introduced the rule of the conch, the rule showed a symbol of civilization and democracy.
Jack also showed integrity in his own meaningful way. He was always loyal to his hunter and everything that he said he would deliver unto them, he did. He promised the meat and food and he provide. Such value is very important for professionalism and being faithful to workers and the economy at large.
Piggy also showed his integrity in his only respectful way. He stayed loyal to Ralph and he was always about the rule and about doing the right thing. In chapter 11 Piggy died trying to make things right with the Jack.
Responsibility > everyone on the island had their own responsibility. Jack was responsible for hunting. The other biguns were responsible for the fire, Ralph was responsible for shelter and order and Piggy was responsible for the littluns. This is one of the most valued attribute in NMMU. If everyone took responsibility of their own actions and responsibilities that are assigned to each individual, work of professionalism will be fraud free and with no
