What is love?
There are many different kinds of love. Love is a whirlwind of emotions that is often easy but sometimes, extremely hard. The Dictionary describes love as an intense feeling of deep affection. Sometimes people love for the wrong reason but at the end of the day, love is what you make it out to be. The love between two people can be wonderful and can be hurtful at the same time. Ultimately, we decide what love is.
My parents mean the world to me. They have literally loved me since the very beginning, and will love me until the very end. I have not had kids yet, but my father always describes the love for my brothers and me as being the easiest, long-lasting, unconditional love there is. My mother, the most …show more content…

We often love with envy and for our own benefit. Love is putting others first and your selves last. In first Corinthians 13:4-8 it says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres” (Holy Bible). Love is not selfish, it is not harming, and it is not out anger. Although love is hard, it is never meant to harm someone else. Love trust, hopes, and is always there.
The love for people to people is amazing and is sometimes indescribable. The love for people and objects is a completely different ball game. A football player might lift weights and spend hours running, just to start and play for the sports team he loves. He might give up social time or even eating just to work at the things that mean something to him. We love it and work for it for our own gain. This concept is the same for every area of life; we make it a priority and often give up other activities, just to make it number one on our list. This should be the same for people, but often is
