Many things make a strong leader, their ability to calm the people, stabilize crises, and set good examples of citizenship. Overall a strong leader is “strong” if her or she can continuously hold onto power, and in order to do this, leaders must be liked by the people they govern. As history will show, leaders that are not liked by the people usually are not able to hold on to power for long, such as that in the case of King George III and the 13 British crown colonies in America. In theory, leaders that stay in power the longest are loved by the people because of their bravery and wisdom.
