Why the school supporting to change a lunch menu. Some students' favorite food will be eliminate so they can't eating in a cafeteria . Each year having different rules about healthier lunch menu. It's a good idea an my opinion to change to new menu. Students' they don't like the pizza and cheeseburger at the school because to much fat on them.
Sure it might be a hassle to get kids to eat healthier school lunches, but is it worth it in the long run. Who wants to live a long and healthy life if so healthy lunches are the way . “Overweight children are at higher risk of developing a variety of diseases, including heart disease and diabetes” (William Rice page 1 ). This sentenced quote proves that kids who eat healthy school lunches have little or no risks than kids who do eat unhealthy school lunches by stating the consequences of unhealthy eating . Eating healthy school lunches can decrease healthy issues and save the nation millions of dollars .
I say my school should not change the school menu. I find it will not benefit anything with schools changing the menu it would actually make the school go down. Although it would have students eating healthier. there are also some problems with the school changing the menu.
Determining the healthiness of food being served to students during school lunches is a very important subject. Although eating healthy is important it should not be the only factor contributing to whether or not taking away students favorite school lunches is beneficial. I don't believe that it is a good idea to take away students favorite school lunches and replacing them with all healthy foods is a good idea because of these three reasons. One, the cost of the healthier food, two, the student environment and mood of the school, and three, the fairness to the students whose only meal is the lunch they receive at school.
School Lunch menus need to be changed. Many schools plan on changing their lunch menus. When changing school lunches many students will lose some of their favorite foods. When the schools do finally decide to change the lunches, it needs to be a change for students, they need to be healthier and it needs to be something different for students.
I believe we should not have restrictions on school lunches. Feeding kids good food two times a day for five days a week will not kill them. Or maybe it will because some students don’t eat the crappy food. Studies shows cafeteria money as decreased very much since they changed food regulation. Kids are not eating lunch or they are bringing their own food from home.
The principal is trying to change school lunch menu's to healthier meals. I strongly believe that this is a good idea to change the lunches because of the following reasons: healthier meals makes kids grow big and strong, it gives you more energy to move around, and it taste delicious. Schools all around should consider changing their lunches for the better of their student. This is for the better of the student to have healthy food. I will go into greater detail in the following paragraphs.
Imagine that your school cafeteria plans to change to a new, healthier lunch menu, which could eliminate some of the students' favorite cafeteria lunches. Some schools may believe that this change will be a beneficial change, but i disagree. Students should have the right to eat what they please. If you, the principal, decides to change the lunch menu these problems can and will show up at some point in time, if the school eliminates the food that students' like then some might stop buying school lunches, the school will stop receiving the much needed money from these lunches, and some students might "fight" back in order to get their favorite foods back.
In conclusion schools should not change the lunches because they don't have the power to tell students can or can't eat, they don't have the time and money, and finally because they are not allowed to put a limit on how much a student can eat due to the “No Kid Hungry

I have been in school for thirteen years, a staggering 76% of my life; and after all this time nothing has changed. Every single day I get served the same unhealthy, inedible lunch.
