One of the most quintessential points to the plot of Macbeth is the murder of Duncan. Prior to this murder of the king, Macbeth had many forces attempting to influence his decision on killing Duncan. Overall, the forces convinced him to kill Duncan in Act 1. Throughout act 1 of Macbeth, despite some of his attempts to withstand, he succumbs to many forces, both internal and external, that lead him to his decision to kill Duncan.
Life is filled with decisions. Minor decisions about small every day choices like deciding to buy a coffee or to go to the mall. These are all choices that will not have a crucial effect on someone’s life. Major decisions like selecting a college or choosing to move on after a traumatizing experience are not favored by many, but must be made in order to Come of Age. In the classic novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, the realistic fiction book Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, and the young adult piece Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson the authors introduce hardships to the characters that require them to make crucial decisions and Come of Age.
Well what I had chose was that in act 2 there had been a scene where Macbeth had just killed King Duncan and he was heading back to lady Macbeth covered in blood. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth had a conversation about the event that just took place and had suggested that the fact was that he couldn't return the weapon it was covered in blood and he was feeling guilty about killing King Duncan. Macbeth had started imagining of hearing noises but when he had first came in he was imagining people in the castle that could be witnesses to killing King Duncan. And he had sworn that when he was killing King Duncan he had thought that someone had said “Sleep no more... Macbeth has murdered sleep”.

The Most to Blame for King Duncan’s Death In William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth it talks about a hero coming back from a viscous battle, from a group of rebels trying to take over the castle that the king’s lives in. After the hero comes back from a bloody battle he encounters three witches that tell him that he will have three titles one in the past thane of Glamis, one in the present thane of Cawdor, and one in the future king. After the witches tell Macbeth about the prophecy he gets the idea of wanting to be the new king and feels that Duncan should isn’t fit to be the king. After Macbeth and Lady Macbeth have a brief argument on wither Macbeth should kill Duncan.
Macbeth is More Responsible In Shakespeare’s play “Macbeth” Macbeth is seen to be as the one responsible for King Duncan’s murder, as Macbeth’s hands were the ones that actually killed King Duncan. However, while Macbeth may be thought of as ultimately responsible for his actions, but there are other influences that actually show on a closer inspection of the text, the three main influences to his decision are Lady Macbeth, himself, and the witches. This is (in my opinion) convincing evidence that Macbeth is completely responsible for the murder of King Duncan.
In the play of Macbeth, there are some characters that could be responsible for Duncan’s death. I personally think Lady Macbeth is the cause of Duncan's murder. She is the most ambitious to kill the king in the beginning of the play, pressuring Macbeth. Lady Macbeth was persuasive of driving Macbeth to commit the murder. She manipulates him to go through with the murder even though he was very doubtful about it.
Act 3 scene 4 Analysis Scene 4 of Act 3 takes place at Forres,The murders return to tell Macbeth of Banquo 's death Macbeth returns to the banquet only to be tormented by the ghost of Banquo which is presented in William Shakespeare 's Macbeth usage of metaphors and imagery. The Death of banquo his former best mate has Macbeth reflecting about the moments happening in his life. Macbeth states “I had else been perfect,Whole as the marble, founded as the rock”(2.4.23-24) banquo 's death has Macbeth reflection about his old self and how he used to be a strong man with free will and now he 's reduced to a man who 's easily manipulated almost like a shell of his former self. This scene establishes that Macbeth is no longer the man he used to be he a ghost of his former self.
In act four of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" Macbeth murders most of a noble man's family out of impulse and paranoia. He suspected said nobleman of plotting against him, and much like the murder of his friend Banquo, he killed him before he got the chance. But this murder is not like the ones before it, this one is much more sinister. The man Macbeth suspected, Maduff, was suspect because he refused to show up to any events that Macbeth attended, and when Macbeth went to ask the witches they warned him Macduff was to be cautioned. This time Macbeth decides right away that Macduff must go.
On the seemingly quiet eve of the 15th of August, King Duncan of Scotland was assassinated in his sleep. King Duncan was celebrating the death of the vulgar rebel MacDonald at the Thane of Cawdor’s Castle briefly before he was killed. MacDonald was killed by the newly appointed Thane of Cawdor, Macbeth, during combat against the Norwegians. Our sources suggest that as King Duncan was sleeping soundly in his room his ‘ professional’ guards were in an alcohol induced slumber.

In the eyes of a 1600s court of common law, Lady Macbeth would be perceived as guilty as Macbeth due to her role as a principal of murder in regicide, as an accessory of murder in other acts of homicide, her dominant position in the relationship of the crime duo, and her own admittance of her crime. Lady Macbeth directly contributes the the murder of Duncan by blaming the chamberlains and is therefore a principal of murder in the second degree. This scene takes place in Macbeth's castle, the morning after the murder of King Duncan. Lennox describes the eerie and unsettling feeling he had the previous night. People are saying they "heard i' th' air, strange screams of death, / and prophesying with accents terrible / of dire combustion and confused events" (30-32). Macduff goes to wake Duncan, finding him murdered in his sleep. Macduff is flustered and emotional, and yells to wake everyone in the castle.
