It is with great excitement that I am writing to express my interest in securing a summer internship position with Macquarie Investment Management’s various investment teams or client group. I am currently a student at The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in business. My grade point average is a 3.95 and I am currently employed part-time as a sales and purchasing intern at Auxiliary Service Inc.
After diligently reviewing Macquarie’s portfolio of products, various divisions, annual report as well as industry trends, I feel that I can add value in a few key areas. These areas include maintaining and growing the client base within Macquarie Investment Management and educating the clients of this firm on the benefits of long term investing with Macquarie’s portfolio of products. The United States makes up only five percent of the world’s population and my background has allowed me to work with the other ninety-five percent of the world’s cultures. Auxiliary Service has provided me the opportunity to interact with a diverse clientele that ranges from Guatemala to Belarus and Johnson & Johnson has provided me with the opportunity to work with global teams located in Belgium and Puerto Rico. We are now in a borderless economy and adaptability in terms of working with both the internal and external stakeholders of Macquarie is the key skill that I can bring of value to your organization.
