On January 30,1948 Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse. His death an abominable shock that swept the world, and crushed India. But what else would the death of a wonderful man who once walked the earth as a living breathing beacon of hope and discretion do to a country of one billion people. . Gandhi’s death is unjustified because he was a profound promoter of peace amongst all people, Gandhi remained passionate throughout his whole career about his cause no matter what roadblocks he faced, and he did not deserve to be killed at the fault of disagreements upon opinion.
From the day Gandhi returned to India to the day Gandhi was assassinated he remained a beacon of hope and peace amongst all people. The first three times he was arrested it was because he refused to submit registration in Transvaal, at the time Gandhi was violating the Transvaal Asiatic Registration Act. The Transvaal registration act required all males who were from Asia to submit a thumbprint as an identity. The fourth time Gandhi was arrested was in the middle of the salt march, because Gandhi was violating british law by making salt using seawater he was breaking the law therefore he was arrested. Everytime after that Gandhi continued to persevere and chase after what he believed in. Through his perseverance and insistent chasing his passion was revealed as clear as the night sky.
