Malcolm X, the the most influential African American leader and activist in the 1960’s. Malcolm X was an influential leader, an example of his was in 1960 he had a Harlem freedom rally where he gathered a community of African Americans in the middle of Harlem where he was recognized and honored. Though Malcolm X was unfortunately assassinated, his legacy will and always be remembered and honored as one of the greatest activist ever.

During the 1960’s there was racial tension almost everywhere you went especially where Malcolm was born which was Omaha, Nebraska.
