Malcolm X Malcolm X was well known for his speech in which he argued for black power. self defense and black economic autonomy, and encouraged racial pride. X was a very inspirational person for all black people.That even tho he died at the age of 40 year old he still remembers even tho he is dead.Malcolm X life was about fighting for the black. He died on February 21, 1965. Early life He was born May 19, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.As a child, his father was murdered, as were four of his uncles. After spending his remaining childhood years in foster homes with his Siblings Malcolm dropped out of middle school, and a few years later moved to Boston. and found work on the streets as a shoe-shiner, drug dealer, gambler and burglar. His brother was trying to convert him into a Muslim faith. Intrigued by those of the NOI, Malcolm began studying the work of Elijah Muhammad. preached about systemic oppression and fought for a world separate from one inhabited by White people.By the time Malcolm X was released from jail he was a devout. follower and soon after meeting Muhammad and agreeing to work for NOI, changed. his surname to “X”.
