Nicolas Enriquez’s piece titled The Virgin of Guadalupe with the Four Apparitions depicts the Virgin mother Mary as she revealed herself to a newly transformed Christian Native named Juan Diego. This 1773 painting is a reproduction of the 1531believed arheiropoeita of Virgin Mary when she descends on Mount Tepeyac and tells Indian Juan Diego to go inform the bishop that a temple shall be built for her. The Virgin of Guadalupe is an iconic piece of Catholicism in Mexico and holds religious and cultural importance to both Spaniards and the Natives of Mexico, such as the Nahuatl. Enriquez’s painting has several deviations from the original arheiropoetia, such as different color choice and addition of Nahuatl symbols, which portrays his painting

African-American Vernacular is a language spoken in the African-American community on a daily basis. It is a part of history and it continues to grow and become way of life for most African-American to understand the meaning of certain things. It’s easy to lean about new things or explain complicated things with the use of African-American vernacular. African-American vernacular is a simple version of standard American English. I am not one hundred percent sure whether or not AAE should be treated as a separate language, I am more of 50/50.

Growing up, she had to face some difficult decisions and witness what others can 't imagine. This is Dulce 's first year in college, 5th year in the United States and plans to major in Political Science. Three years before Sally’s employment began, the first grade staff “adopted academic progress and social development criteria for determining whether students should be retained in grade” (Kowalski, pg. 59). While Sally was uncomfortable with retaining students, she was not yet confident enough in her position to challenge the veteran teachers. During her schooling, “Sally had been told that the negative aspects of retaining students far outweighed the benefits-a contention that was supported by several research articles she was required to read” (Kowalski, pg. 59).
In my assessment concerning the professionalism of Mrs. Perez, she is a character with a gift in counseling that makes her appropriate for a counseling job particularly the one that deals with women. Her counseling changes live and she has been able to assist many women to change for the better. From my experience with her, I feel like this is the best career for me and I have to pursue it by any means. The method through which she approaches things is the best and can be of significant help to many women with similar problems.
