Imagine that you wake up every day knowing that the person you love died in war. That is what it is like to be Mrs. Bigio from The Wednesday Wars. In Gary Schmidt’s novel The Wednesday Wars. Mrs. Bigio starts the book as a rude and racist character.
“ Do you have those papers done that you were suppose to work on for our project”? I asked Gina, She looked at me and said “ no I had to go shopping, get my hair done, and I did not feel good”. In the story “The Adventure of the Speckled Band”, Sherlock Holmes is not responsible for the death of Dr. Grimbsy Roylott. One reason why Holmes is not responsible is because the snake is uncontrollable. Roylott was stupid to believe that the wild snake could be trained so easily. It is hard to tell what is true and not true in a novel, especially when the author says, “Often the crazy stuff is true and the normal stuff isn't, because the normal stuff is necessary to make you believe the truly incredible craziness” (68). The character Mary Anne Bell was too crazy for this novel though. The most unrealistic characters in The Things They Carried is Mary Anne Bell because she went to the war as a civilian not a soldier, embodies the theme loss of innocence, and there are other character that feel the same loss. There are many events that take place that makes Mary Anne an implausible character. There are many ways to describe Naomi Erlanger. I say she is full of surprises since she seems to always notice her mistakes usually at the end. Naomi is a timid person since she doesn’t feel as comfortable in her own self. She is in love with Zach Powers though he is a bad influence, she still hangs out with him due to his look and popularity. Naomi doesn’t have self-confidence as she said in chapter 6 regarding about Zach Powers “ It was tough to compete with Lena, who was naturally pretty and had very strong personality.”

“Victor, no.” : Henry Clerval, Tough Love, and Good Intentions Some have a natural charisma that renders them likable to the majority of the population. Aging is an essential part of life, some people dread it while others just sit back and enjoy the ride. For example, in the book, Tuesdays with Morrie, the main character Morrie, who is a college professor, actually enjoys the aging process. When Morrie is talking to his former student Mitch he says that he once told his friends, "I am going to be the healthiest old man you ever met," and he was in his sixties when he said this which shows how he is optimistic about aging. If you do not age then you will not be able to learn new things, meet new people, and experience new things and Morrie understood this more than most people. He was not afraid to age, because he knew that it was inevitable and he embraced it instead of trying to run away

The Diary of Anne Frank quotes and Note Kyumin Lee 1. Daddy's the only one who understands me, now and again, though he usually sides with Mother and Margot. Another thing I can't stand is having them talk about me in front of outsiders, telling them how I cried or how sensibly I'm behaving Pg 24 It shows that Anne has a typical mind of a teenager and that she can relate to her father better than her mother.
There is a tick, then a Tock, drawing us into a world that we all know well. The further we venture inside, the more we give ourselves over to its eternal rhythm. Most remain oblivious to their role within this vast production, but those who wake from the trance and see the system for what it really is find that the path to freedom lies straight ahead. " In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart," This quote was found in Anne Frank’s
Whenever the novel discusses Miss Stein, it typically portrays her as being a teacher for Hemingway. Some examples of this include how she tends to give Hemingway her opinions on what to read in order to advance his literature, some words of advice how to live a meaningful life or advice on his current state of writing when she says "it is inaccrochable." (pg 25) Her definition of inaccrochable is best explain through the example she provides the audience which is "it is like a picture that a painter paints and then he cannot hang it when he has a show." (pg 25)

Healthcliff has a legal right to with with his son as he pleases. Anyone and everything living on his land or under his roof is considered to be his property.
