Topic: Marijuana and driving.

Drug impaired Driving

Every state have the laws to deal with the drug-impaired and alcohol-impaired driving. The drugged driving laws are nuanced, prosecute, difficult to enforce and it is varying substantially by state. It is very opposite for the laws of drunk driving.

In general to the impairment laws there are other two basic laws which are stating to use and addressing the drug-imnpaired driving. Cannabis and the Medical Marijuana are drug impairment laws.

Zero tolerance laws

This laws are making it illegal to drive if there is masurable amount of specified drugs in the body. These laws are best suited for illgal drugs. It is illegal to possess and use the drug and it is also reasonable to prohibit driving when the drug is used and possessed.

State and territorial governors appoint SHSO directors, who are referred to as the Governors Representatives or Grs. These Grs and their designated highway safety coordinators are making up the core GHSA membership.
