The book “The Secret of Sarah Revere” is a very interesting book. I like the arguments that Grandmother and Rachel have because it make the book very interesting. I also like the fact that Paul, Sarah’s father, does not have a care in the world. He does not care about the arguments, he does not care about what people are saying about him, and he really does not care if Sarah thinks that Doctor Warren and Rachel are just friends. When he does not care it really means that he just doesn’t know or realize this is happening.

The best examples of heroes may come from fictional stories but real life heroic traits often come from those fictional heroes. Some of these traits seem godlike but there are humans that hold heroic traits beyond what we can read about. Beowulf is a fictional character with superhuman strength that is fighting to save a group of people from multiple atrocious creatures. Harriet Tubman, on the other hand, is an African American slave who escaped from her master and ran an underground railroad to bring slaves to freedom. Although Beowulf is a fictional character and Harriet Tubman is not, they are both perceived as heroes that shared selflessness and leadership skills they used to accomplish their ultimate goals; saving peoples lives.

Most everyone has their own opinion of what an ideal hero is. Heros are definitely impactful in our lives, and play large roles in them. In my opinion, a hero is loyal, kind, and courageous person. I can only recognize a few people in my life who fall under all three of those categories, however while reading The Odyssey, Odysseus stood out significantly as a hero. Throughout the epic, he displayed countless acts of courage and bravery.
" A hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles," as American actor Christopher Reeve once said. Reeve tells us that a hero fights to make the world a better place while facing and pushing through many hardships on the way. A hero, as Reeve says, would be Malala Yousafzai. Malala Yousafzai is a modern day hero because although she has gone through many obstacles, she has benefited girls ' education around the world.
