There are many types of master of education degrees available online. In fact, every degree specialization available through a traditional brick-and-mortar school can be earned through distance education. A general master’s in education is the most common program found online. They focus on enhancing educator effectiveness and student performance. Basic coursework explores pedagogical beliefs and behaviors that contribute to teacher success, cultural sensitivity and supportive learning communities.
