Introduction
As educators we must understand the purpose of education and know that we play a vital role in teaching our children of today to embrace learning with all its benefits. Educators must accept the fact that it may be challenging at times due students who come into the classroom with various learning levels and abilities. The purpose of education has changed over the course of time. It changes because our society continues to transform which effects what the focus is for our children in what they should be taught in school. As educators we must understand the purpose of education and the vital role we play in teaching our students to embrace learning and the benefits it offers to their future. Teachers will help students reach their academic goals offering a variety of activities, developing those skills which will offer students a sense of accomplishment. We must support their developing minds to guide them in a manner that will encourage them as they continue on their educational journey. When students learn to value education and the importance it plays in their lives, they will understand how each stage of their life will bring new learning opportunities for them. As they build their literacy skills through each progressing year they will increase their levels of knowledge. They can transfer those skills and knowledge in their education as they attend college. Ultimately, they will use all they have acquired throughout their years of educational practices to become effective members in our society as successful working
