Since Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are three of the most popular social media platforms in 2016, it is better to measure these platforms to improve the search engine marking (“Top 15 Most”, 2016). A Company’s social media daily post frequency, greatly affects their online following and customer engagement. “There are 5 million images uploaded to Instagram every day” (Richard, 2013). The company replies customers’ comments regularly, especially responding questions. Nordstrom responses customer’s concerns and some negative comments in the very positive tone. Nordstrom would praise customers if they post pictures on Twitter with new items they bought from Nordstrom. They will reply comments, such as “You look beautiful, Tracie! Thanks for sharing with us!”. Nordstrom’s customers will receive feedbacks less than two days. These interactions would give people a more positive brand experience and allow the company easy to follow-up with the customers. Moreover, it will help the company build its reputation through these comments because customers will feel that the company actually cares about their feeling. Interacting with customers is beneficial for long-term business. The research showed that some customers who have been helped by Nordstrom post positive feedbacks, such as “I will definitely shop in Nordstrom again!”, so Nordstrom should keep the closely interaction with their customers. The data stated that the number of total check-in with Nordstrom’s location would increase during some special events which were posted on the social media.
