According to Herman (2014), statistic shows that Instagram currently has 65% or more of the world’s top brands user for marketing platform, in addition with more 200 million monthly active Instagram users of which, 70% were logged on daily basis, hence proven to be a wide base of population for marketers to reach. Lazazzera (2014) wrote that, “…hashtags are a way to group ideas, concept or conversations. They make it easy for people to find others who are posting about topics they’re interested in.” In other words, Hashtags provides an opportunity to spread your post to a group or wider range of viewers from the category of your hashtags. Lazazzera also explained that the use of appropriate hashtags allows you to reach new audience who might be interested in your products. Besides that, Hashtags can be also used to describe your photo or the line of your business.
