April 5, 2017 I received a call from Dana Simms Intake coordinator Supervisor Communications Utilization Management concerning the Medical Management Assistant position which I had applied for. After, answering a few questions by Mrs. Simms she asked me if I could come for a face- to- face interview. I responded “sure when do you want me to come”. April 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. I arrived at Bernie Glen, Maryland for the interview.
During the interview I was asked questions by both Mrs. Simms and another young lady whom I and unable to recall her name. I was asked by Mrs. Simms “to tell them a little about myself”. As I talked about how I got into the medical field and my education and career path. Mrs. Simms stated “I want an informatics degree”. I responded “Mrs. Dana go get it”. Her response was I can’t, I am working on my bachelor’s degree right now”. Right then I felt I would not have a chance to get the job because of my educational background and being that Mrs. Simms stated “how she want an informatics degree”. This made me think she, they feel I want her job, if I was hired for the Medical Management Assistant Position.

I responded “I don’t know enough and only took three courses of IT in my program”. As the questions was asked and I answered them, the question came up about different software.
