Bill and Melinda Gates have a big goal set in place for them to achieve. The advancement in health, farming, banking, and education will have a huge impact on everyone’s lives. They are trying to solve world problems and make life easier and more efficient all through the use of new technology. It is believable that Bill and Melinda’s foundation will be very successful with the mobile banking helping the poor, and the better software helping to advance learning. There are many people this day in age that abuse their money usage and wind up in a bad situation. Mostly the poor are the individuals who save and spend their money inefficiently: “They save by hiding cash around the house or buying commodities that lose value over time”(Gates,Bill and Melinda 17). Most of these people are losing money this way; yet this growing problem can and will be fixed. With different apps on smartphones, it can make it much easier to get ahead in a level of learning. “Before a child even starts primary school, she will be able to use her mom’s smartphone to learn her numbers and letters, giving her a big head start. Software will be able to see when she’s having trouble with the material and adjust for her pace” (Bill and Melinda Gates 22). Even these little things are a huge step up because it gives kids more time in school to learn more at a younger age so they are more advanced earlier on. As this technology and software advances it will also make improvement in the new learning of adults.
