As democracy grows within the nation, the public demands for the Truth. Not only for the overlying persona that the media puts,but the hard facts that are not told. Many question the credibility of news sources, some believe it to be a reliable source and others a exploitation of the mass people.This issue is a serious moral problem because the right information is not told or called to action. The media has shown bias and an increasing amount of censorship when presenting information, not only will this decrease the impact and importance of the news ,but it also limits the voice of society,since people are not being properly informed enough to take action on the issue. Trying to make a uniform civilization is like giving a comparison to a fascist system. Such as explained in the book by Carl Jenson ,20 Years of Censored News , he takes the work of Michael Parenti (a historian) and describes “Labeling” In the introduction (27) . The term he says is used to convey the utilization of belittling people. Most of the time these tactics are used in the broadcasting organization that are learned in journalism. When writing news the article has to appeal to the people and make an impression on them. So any means necessary of exaggerating the topic will take place. The issue most of the time concerning media is the diversity factor involving it. Frequently when showing people of color , they tend to not create a variety and just put in the traditional faces. As years have passed so has the mindset of the public,so the media should take the time to consider the different people around. This overseer has its way of showing the things on the broadcasting system. That involve displaying the information in an appealing or displeasing form. The reasons for the limitations are usually set for the reaction of what would attract the audience viewing it. A Journal written by a group of scholars in Harvard had done a study of who was controlling the media and for what reason. This study of ,Who Owns the Media consisted of finding the News outlets and their corresponding funders. In fact the research had laid out that most of the publication programs were run by the state or in other words the government. The indicated information had given results which were that the data of the government controlling the media had ,” in particular casts doubt on the proposition that state ownership of the media serves benevolent ends (Djankov et. al).”Alternatively stated that if the government controls the media then there will not be a good outcome. This is why not a lot is known behind the scenes of the news. The government tries to censor the stuff not want to be seen.Instead of the media being involved with the government,it should be independent and be able to release the truth out to the
