The Renaissance was a period in time where everything started to change after the middle ages. During this historical period humans stared evolving by becoming smarter and inventing useful recourses that have changed the world. The renaissance was a life changing period which brought more joy to the world after conquering the dark ages. The Renaissance changed man’s view on the world by using Art, Science and Literature to make humans brighter and because of the rapid information they were gaining. Art during the Renaissance grew rapidly because of Leonardo Da Vici, and Michelangelo who changed the way people painted and drew by creating strategies which made art more interesting.
During the Renaissance, art cascaded throughout Europe. This was the beginning of a new age filled with advanced ideas and inspiration. The music era started in 1400 during the Renaissance and grew, later leading to baroque times. As music expanded, people portrayed what they were hearing. Music was used during mass, in chapels, and to express composers feelings.
The Middle Ages and the Renaissance can be considered one of the two main eras that influenced the world we live in today. The Middle Ages, which lasted from the 5th to the 15th century, was a time of darkness, death, cultural diffusion,no education, art, and literature. I think Renaissance time period was more powerful and positive then Middle age. Name itself literally means awakening and rebirth. However, Middle age is not completely wicked because it was one steps towards Renaissance . Therefore, without Middle Age we would probably living in Stone Age time period. The name of this era was perfect to represent this season of music. The rebirth of music was evident as secular music became prominent, reflecting its cultural backdrop of humanism. During the Renaissance, vocal music was viewed as more important than instrumental music. Accordingly, much of the music had a smooth, imitative, polyphonic texture with four to six voice parts of nearly equal voice parts.
There are many things about the Renaissance time period that made it special. Between the swashbuckling pirates and the witchcraft, the Renaissance was an exciting era. After encouragement to the Western Expansion, major changes such as technology, social economics, and the roles of women had great effects toward the Americans’ way of living, where it became known as the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution sparked the way how Americans’ lives changed thanks to advance and new modern technologies that were invented.
