Everyone has to figure out what they will do for the rest of their lives after they finish high school and be ready to start that job right after college. Honestly, most people don't even know what they want to do until after their sophomore year of college. Being a middle school teacher is a marvelous job; a numerous amount of subjects can be taught, that is what makes teaching middle school extraordinary. Of all the people wanting to be teachers, there are only "614,400 jobs for middle school teachers in the United States" (Bureau of Labor Statistics). That is the thing about teaching, schools are always looking for more teachers and good ones too. Being a middle school teacher requires at least a Bachelor's degree, on the job training, like internships, and leadership skills. Being a middle school teacher requires specific degrees and many skills. One of these skills is leadership. All teachers need to have leadership because without it they could not lead class discussions or control their students. One of the most difficult tasks is to teach the curriculum because sometimes teachers have students that can't understand a certain way of teaching and they need extra help. It is difficult for teachers to spend time with their friends and family on school nights because they are usually grading papers or creating lesson plans for the next day. Once experienced, teachers can act as a mentor to younger or newer teachers that are less experienced to improve their teaching skills.
