After our encounter with Nallan, who had been promoted from senator to general, I set about to get revenge. I began to sneak around the city, scavenging weapons and supplies necessary to complete my personal mission. I would go to the nearby military base where Nallan was stationed, and learned as much as I could about it. I figured out when the guard shifts were and where the base was most vulnerable. I watched and followed Nallan and learned his schedule so that I would be able to assassinate him. I found a rifle with a few rounds, a sword, and some explosive. After the trail, I was sentenced to death. The next day I stood in front of the firing squad. I closed my eyes in anticipation. I was glad that I had gotten revenge for my parent’s death. “Ready! Aim!” A gunshot drowned out the last word that I had expected. A gun had fired, but I was still alive. I opened my eyes, and looked up. On the hill made to obscure the firing squad from the surrounding area, Re stood there with a gun in hand. We ran off before guards came to check that I was dead.
