For this project, the book I chose was All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I think this is now one of my all time favorite books, too. I really loved it. The story is about high school seniors Violet Markey and Theodore Finch, who goes by Finch. They meet at the top of their school's bell tower, and it's unclear who saves who. They both have completely different reasons. For Violet, she has lost her way after her sister Eleanor's death 9 months prior. For Finch, he is battling mental illness. Violet, at a loss for words at how beautiful it is, simply says, "It's lovely". Finch says that, "'Lovely' is a lovely word that should be used more often" (Niven 175). The characters consequently describe many things as lovely throughout the rest of the book, continuing to the end in a song Finch wrote for
