"Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope." Said MLK Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted to stop black hate. He started and led the march in Washington and there he gave his famous speech called “I have a dream”. Also, he was one of the leaders in the Montgomery bus boycott. All in all, Martin Luther King Jr. is the best person in the civil rights movement. To start off, Martin Luther King Jr. was important to history and Civil Rights. He was always trying to help people in any way that he could because he wanted to abolish discrimination and segregation.
