AMS has a Chief Operating Officer (COO) based in Ghana, reporting to the Managing Director in Australia.
Directly reporting to the COO is the General Manager AMS, and on the operations side is an Operations Manager in Ghana, overseeing four projects, and an Operations Manager based in Mali overseeing the four Francophone projects.
Each operation has a Project Manager who reports indirectly to the GM and directly to the Operations Manager. Each Project Manager is responsible for his site as a stand alone business, his responsibility is to achieve budget, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that include production, safety statistics and HR performances.

Indeed, it is done to understand the past performance of a particular company about its future prospects. Besides, the analysis includes the management structure, expertise, growth opportunities, finances, market shares, profitability as well as the intangible factors like brand appeal and goodwill of the market (John 2007, p 220).
