However, his idea was not acceptable from his family, and they laugh at him because this is not their lifestyle and it is different from their traditional.

In Mexico, family is of central importance. Loyalty and commitment to family and friends determines employment , promotion or special treatment for contracts. Such virtues tend to come in the way of motivation and productivity measurements on the job through high rates of turnovers and job absenteeism. This becomes a costly affair for the employers as apart from family reasons, workers often do not come back to work after their holidays or vacations . With the current election raging, illegal immigration has been the hot topic amongst both liberals and conservatives. Many conservatives believe that illegals steal jobs, abuse tax benefits, and, most importantly, threaten their way of life. Liberals, on the other hand, support immigration reform based purely on sympathy. They understand that many Latin Americans go through extreme measures to escape hopeless situations back home.
