The movie Lincoln was directed by director Steven. This was to confine the main story to the 1860s period, which dedicated to Abraham Lincoln on his greatest success. The assassination does not shown in the movie. However, by showing the public on the struggle to both free the slaves and end of the war. Lincoln portrays a powerful and man who has become an icon of the United State. The opening shot was shown that Confederate and Union soldiers fight. The battle was brutal for noble ideals, and that’s key to the story of what Lincoln going to take action on. Based on the theoretical perspectives, we can see that there’s still a majority of people’s perspective on monoculturalism in which the whites and the blacks has a huge gap of social position, …show more content…

As reaching the end of January 1865, the blacks are only then being invited and willingly a join the whites to stand together in the Congress to adopt the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which outlawed the practice of slavery. Lincoln is constantly on sparing the Union. He viewed himself as the only president who achieved what no other president that can ever attempted on the contribution of his significance. Lincoln portrays as an intelligent person that plays the game of politics with his conscience and his ability. He always get underestimated by his opponents, that he has outwits loads of veterans and turned into a win that modifies the course of history. There are efforts being made at joining or advancement of solidarity among the blacks and whites which it ends the Civil War that lots of blacks and even the slaves join in and fight together with the Union.
