Kimberly Clark has many benefits for a business by using technology. To start is that they can view customers behaviors a lot easier in an environment that is controlled. If we are talking about an environment that is computerized, it is an easy task to just change the product locations, color schemes, and packaging. What you need to do is a couple clicks on the keyboard and mouse to make these types of changes. In this day and time, virtual stores are not included in the everyday shopping, there are companies that have used them to attack the strategy of marketing in many different ways like, store displays price points, new product design, test, consumer behavior. Large retail stores like Kroger Co, Target, and Wal-Mart has looked into virtual stores to view the way a product can be a part of their store layout and pick the best setup for particular products. Brand names like Proctor and Gamble and Kimberly Clark (Huggies, Kleenex) are utilizing virtual stores to advertise their products to new levels with their client base. What Kimberly Clark has done is taken the idea of a virtual store and made it a piece of their company. There are painful treatments that patients undergo like for burns, they can use a program from virtual reality to help relax their minds from the pain. This can also help people that may have a mental condition such as extreme phobias, it will allow them to go into a world where they can find a comfort with their fears virtually.
