Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) – is a nonprofit organization, incorporated on September 5, 1980. They seek to stop drunk driving, support people affected by drunk driving, focus on preventing underage drinking, and strive for stricter impaired driving policies (whether alcohol or other drugs). “The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.” MADD is supported by fund raising, donations, events such as raising money for the MADD walk, and through memberships to the organization.
