On January 27, 1756, in Salzburg, Austria, one of the world’s greatest music composers was born. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is known throughout the entire world. Mozart is considered one of the world's most talented and natural gifted music composers. He had played a huge role in promoting musical arts among the European continent. To this day, he continues to be one of history's most inspiring musicians in the world (Haydn).
“During his lifetime Mozart produced an astonishing abundance of music-more than six hundred works embracing all music forms: symphony, opera, concerto, chamber, song, sonatas and incidental pieces” (Bookspan). Mozart took after his father with his love for music. He started to pick out cords of instruments at age three. At age four, he began playing instruments and a year later he was composing music pieces. “Almost any musician can be a conductor, even a pretty good one; but only a rare musician can be a great one”

In 1782, at the age of 26, Mozart wrote a letter to his sister, Nannerl, on what a typical day was like for him before he was married. The letter reads, “At 6:00 in the morning I am already done with my friseur (hairdresser), and at 7:00 I am fully dressed. Thereupon I compose until 9:00. From 9:00 - 1:00 I give lessons; then I eat unless I am a guest at places where they dine at 2:00 or even 3:00--as, for instance, today and tomorrow with Countess Zichy and Countess Thun. I cannot work before 5:00 or 6:00 in the evening and I am often prevented even then by a concert; if not I write till 9:00. Then I go to my dear Constanze, where the delight of our meeting is generally embittered by the words of her mother;--hence my desire to free and save her as soon as possible.
