One of the Four Pillars that I enjoyed was Christian Camaraderie. Responding to our classmates and the encouragement of conversation allows for lifelong relationships. Being that
It's what I wanted to experience without breaking the church's rules. I loved it there and I will always love it there, but it was time to turn the next page and begin something new. I am very thankful for being given the opportunities I have been given there. Here in Richmond, it’s like coming up from underwater and breathing in fresh, new, and exciting air. With every new day comes a new experience and different opportunities are behind every curb.
Michael the Archangel School from kindergarten to eighth grade. I loved everything about St. Mike’s, especially religion class. Since St. Michael’s is a Catholic Parish, they teach the catechism and Church history to their students. This was the number one thing I enjoyed about being a St. Michael Defender. I looked forward to starting every day off with religion class and prayer.
Athena the Brains is written by Joan Holub & Suzanne Williams, Athena is expected to Mount Olympus Academy and is ready to face anything and everything that comes her way. Athena is a normal girl from Earth until she got a letter from Zeus. On the letter it said that she was accepted into Mount Olympus Academy ,also the letter says that she is a goddess and the daughter of Zeus her dad. When Athena got there, she looks around at the massive building with a lot of fountains, flowers, and more marvelous items, afterwards walks into the office and sign up for every single class that was on the list. Then went to all the classes she signed up for, afterwards that night she went to her new room, she meets her roommate and the people around her.
During the past few years, I have had many volunteer and leadership opportunities both in and outside of school. Truth be told, I’ve never been the most outgoing person, but many of these opportunities have helped me to step outside my comfort zone, and take leadership various situations. Through my volunteering experiences, I’ve learned many lessons. I believe that going to Archbishop MacDonald high school will continue to push me outside my comfort zone and become a great leader in my community.
You brought up a very interesting points about DBQ 'S. I hated DBQ 'S as a child, maybe it was because social studies was not my favorite subject. The part I hated the most was analyzing the documents and interpreting them in my own words. The most difficult part for me was citing lines from the document to support my answers. Similar to you experience with social studies class, I also believe that the vocabulary used in certain documents were not grade level vocabulary words. I think that if social studies class included a lot more informational reading, students will better interpret and understand the concepts of the subject area.
I hope to bring diversity to all who walk on the campus. My background has shaped me into the intelligent African American woman I am today. Without growing up in the “hood”, I may have not been able to find the best career that interested me. I also would not have been able over all the challenges thrown at me. Instead I remained determined and motivated so that I was able to achieve all of the goals set before me.
During my last year of middle school at Drew Freeman my life changed. I was exposed to a wonderful opportunity. I was given the chance to take a test that would determine
Alexander of Macedon was a powerful conqueror or traveled throughout Greece, expanding his rule in in the third century BCE. He is nicknamed “Alexander the Great,” but was he actually all that great? Alexander pursued every conquest for selfish reasons. He stole riches from kingdom, and destroyed countless monuments. He sold many people into slavery, and he killed many more.
I have received a great education and an understanding of my religion that has readied me for an amazing high school career and later a great life. One of the most important values OLG has taught me is to accept everyone because we are all equal in God’s eyes. OLG has a very diverse student population that has introduced me to many different cultures and religions. In the real world, we are not all going to look or act the same. God made each of us different!
Being able to connect with the community and with my peers will be a valuable and unforgettable experience. Not only will I be able to learn from the community, but from my fellow peers, medical students, high school students, and other undergraduates as well. Getting to me mentored by people who have done what I want to do will be enriching, it’ll be an experience that ill cherish forever. Creating long lasting friendships with people who have similar interest.
I was surrounded by a close, caring and loving community. I began to see the endless opportunities my education could offer me. Through setting up a pathway filled with challenging honor classes and CTE classes that interested me, I truly began to care for my academics. Every teacher encouraged me to be the best I could be. During my time at Midway, I learned a lot of responsibility and took pride in my work.
The MSN in education is something I have passionate about for a long time now. The MSN from Benedictine University will help me reach my goal as being a more well-rounded, devoted professional nurse. I am very motivated and driven to be very successful in life. I always plan ahead and always looking for a way to better myself professionally. All of my life I have always tried to be the best prepared professional so I can have a career for the rest of my life that I can be proud of.
This is proof to me that Wellesley is capable of providing the opportunity for creating the lifelong friendships I desire to have. The other main thing I hope to accomplish
Also I believe that this school has also helped me to know what path to go on in my journey of becoming an engineer. This school has helped me learn what courses that I should take as well as what path to go in when it comes to being an engineer. I really enjoy engineering and I hope that when I grow up I will be able to reach my goal of becoming a biomedical engineer. I believe that when I become a biomedical engineer I would be able to create things for people all over the
