My Communication Process Evaluation
The speaker (sender) presenting was me, Kelly Senczyszyn.
The audience (receivers) consisted of my classmates and professor.
The channel I used to present my message, to describe myself, was visual aids. My visual aids gave my audience a view into my life and showed them my interests. My visual aids were a book, football, car, and a souvenir from Florida. The other channel I used to send my message to my audience when I spoke about how public speaking would benefit me was by talking (speaking) and hearing.

For example, I presented a book to show that I love to read and to escape to a new world. Then, I showed a football, toy Camaro, and a bottle with seashells from Florida and explained why I adored them. I also explained how public speaking would benefit me by allowing me to learn how to speak in front of people I do not know, to gain new friendships, and to learn how to become more active in my community by speaking out at events.
While I was presenting, there were no noises that distracted me from giving my speech. One of my classmates looked like he was day-dreaming and fake listening towards the end of my speech because of how long my speech was. Also, I would plan on the next thing I would say instead of focusing on the current topic so that interfered with my speech. I need to work on eliminating noise and interference for future speeches.
When I was giving my speech, my classmates gave me nonverbal feedback. As I was presenting my items and saying why I liked them, my classmates smiled and looked interested in the things I was talking about. My professor was leaning forward, smiling, and asking energetic questions while I presented my items showing positive feedback and that she had interest in my speech.
