My Major Accomplishments

After high school, I plan on attending Pennsylvania College of Technology to major in a Bachelors degree in Plastics and Polymer Science so that I can become a mechanical engineer. I plan on achieving sustainability by having a career in the plastics manufacturing field and enjoying the job I perform every day. In order to accomplish this, I will have to show hard work and dedication in college, then at my employer as I work my way up to the position I want in a company. I will strive to do my best in the college classroom and plan on carrying over my success from my high school years to my college career. After my second education, I will do the same while in the workforce.

I altar serve at my church I regularly attend. I also have served at various church dinners and aided at the vacation bible school program the church hosts. I have been an officer and an avid member of the Bastress Community 4-H club. I also was a member of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Youth Leadership program and worked towards a social change project to better our community. I am a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and have qualified and competed at the state level competition in Hershey, PA for three consecutive years. I am a class officer and also participate in Pep Club and Outdoor Club. I also have been a member and have participated in coordinating Prom Committee and Homecoming Committee. During high school, being an active student that participates in both several sports and clubs, it is also important to be organized and focus on maintaining my grades.
During my time at the high school, I do my best achieve high earning grades. With studying and determination, I am ranked in the top ten of my class and I have consistently been a member of the Distinguished Honor Roll. I also have been inducted into the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, National English Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
