My Nursing Philosophy My concept of nursing focuses on the personal relationship we create with our patients. It is a process where we are able to take part of ourselves and share our part influencing our patients. The nursing profession encompasses Morality and Ethics which are important values that will influence our actions and manner of care towards our patients.Munro et al (2016) discusses that the philosophy of primary health guides a nurse in approaching the patients' needs congruent with the different factors that conceptualizes health. Nurse theorists had worked on addressing the four metaparadigm concepts of nursing: person, health, environment and nursing.

This reflects the correlation between the consistency of the care givers and the delegation potential. Nursing roles are complex and requires highly skilled clinical judgement. A nurse should be able to maximize his or her resources to be able to provide remarkable care to their patients. Nurses should be responsible and accountable as they decide on interventions to be delivered and delegated to family members. The complexity of the tasks should be critically decided because it would vary differently on each patient hence the competency of the health care team is essential in the communication

At a point, strict compliance to safety should always start with the healthcare provider. Failure in providing safe and efficient care to a patient can result to not only putting the patient’s safety at risk but putting the professional career of the healthcare provider at risk as well, through medical malpractice and its consequences. There are various ways to minimize, and eventually remedy the cause of committing errors in the clinical field. Prime examples such as collaborating with other healthcare providers within the team, heavily utilizing evidence-based performance guidelines in the field, enforcing vivid communication and proper dissemination of information to patients and their families, and adequate staffing in patient care units so that enough nurses can provide quality, safe, and professional care to the patients, should be one of the suggestions in maintaining a safe environment to every member of the healthcare team, as well as to the clients at
