Goal 1
What: to explore a variety of approaches and activities for developing and practicing writing skills with my learners. Help learners understand the differences between written and spoken language, genres and their functions, style and register, and other key aspects of writing they need to successfully pass the certification. Why: I often teach certification courses and I feel that my students are under-prepare for it. My students usually have problems with writing most of them would say that they hate writing. But, it is less about “hate” and more about a lack of preparation in the subject area. They do not have sufficient experience with the writing process in order to understand what to do.
