I hated reading and writing growing up. I was always bad at it no matter the grade I was in. Looking back on my childhood, it always took me more than one try anything grammatically writing-wise, especially this paper. I always found ways to procrastinate and find ideas about the subject I’m writing about since I always push things to the last minute. I loved playing the piano, sports, and video games. They somewhat gave me ideas of what I could Implement into the paper writing. For example, Making music or being active helps me create melodies for producing music. Now as a freshman in college majoring in music production/sound engineering, taking a college writing class could be beneficial to my knowledge

I also dislike reading and writing a lot growing up due to the fact that I wasn’t the best at it but this didn’t start until 8th grade to now. All of the lessons taught at my middle school on basic daily languages that we use. When learning material, everything came naturally to me such as learning metaphor similes, etc. Some of my favorite books I liked to read growing up were big titles such as Diary of a wimpy kid, Big Nate, 39 Clues, Wonder, etc. Wonder is my favorite book that my teacher made us read in 4th grade and do a project on. Wonder is about a kid named August who has countless disabilities and is picked on throughout the whole book until he finds the right group of friends. For my K-3 years, I attended St Vicent De Paul Grade School. While still being a kid, it was an overall good experience due to the fact of the school never made you feel as if you were alone. St Vicent was all about family and sticking together which made it easier for me to make friends and learn. If the teachers ever noticed you were struggling, they would make it their mission to find a tutor or website to help you in the area of the scuffle.
