In a world of segregation it can be hard to adopt a new person into a friendship or even into a family. The people have found that if we just don't bother the other race then they won't bother us. I have had plenty of experience in bringing in a new friend that was of the other race or even a family member, it wasn't very easy, and that just the way we want to be not the way we should be. I now have an aunt that is african american and at first my family members thought it was crazy and they had to change the whole lifestyle, but no all they had to do was accept that person and now she lives just like all of us in a generous, loving, and caring family.I just don't get why we do this, they are still human, they are exactly the same but darker skin. they are scared of them because of drugs, sex , and just reputation. If a son of a family has a black friend and he is always over and they are always hanging out the parent will think of drugs, because that one of the worst thing they can be doing. What i'm trying to explain in this is that black people or people with a darker skin can be good, loyal people that you can trust. These people have the same things that we have, but just a different skin color and. I just don’t get why we can't live together and have the same kind of jobs and everything so these kids don’t have to live in the “hood”, if these kids grow up in a half decent neighborhood then it would only lake one generation to become good people and change there ways, how they live, and what they do to get money.
