The tan sand around the bases with the growing green grass and old worn out cracked dugouts is where I would have been. The Albany baseball diamond was where me and my friends hung out. We would hit old worn out baseballs with the leather coming off of them and run around the aged bases and sleep on the old rickety metal things they called bleachers. The school right beside it also had a playground which we may or may not have supposed to be on. Dairy Dream was just across the street with the delicious smell of hot chocolate fudge and the nose tingling scent of vanilla ice cream that filled the air.
I have played since elementary school, but in all those years, I have alway been a very average player. I would go from being one of the best on the golf team, to the girl that only gets put in the game if the team was either losing or winning by a substantial amount. Through this experience, I learned humility, as I accepted that I cannot always be the best. Finally, Track & Field taught, and continues to teach me the importance of teamwork.

I fell In love with the concept of being able to hit a ball full force as hard as you wanted, there was just something about it I loved with all my heart and still do to this very day. I first played Tee Ball, like I said before, then moved up levels as my age got older.

Beautiful views and not full of tourists this is Telluride Colorado. Visiting Telluride is on my bucket list because I am a skier and I love the outdoors and mountain life. Telluride has one of the best ski resorts in the country but they don’t have the crowds of a normal ski resort. I have researched a ski resort to go to every winter for the past two years and I have had my eye on this place.

This summer I went on a vacation and played baseball. I also mowed lawns so I could pay for my baseball trips, as well as working on my farm. Right now I am helping my dad move out to the farm. For baseball this year we had a lot of games. If I wasn’t playing baseball I was mowing, or I was helping clean out an apartment.
