Louie and Biggs
In a small town of Louisiana there is a boy named Louie, he was small for the age of eight but was very brave. He would go out in the tall grass, taller than himself, and catch anything he could. Snakes, toads, and bugs of all sorts of creatures, Louie was a bright child well behaved.
One morning he was off to school walking, down the dirt trail observing the new morning air. Then, all of the sudden Johnny Biggs zoomed by him on his new bicycle yelling “Keep up lil’ Louie!”. Johnny Biggs was eleven and looked like he could be sixteen, he was a prankster but was always hanging out at the coolest spots. Even the rope swing down by the creek was named after him, “The Biggs Boungi”.

Johnny smiled and handed him the rope, he said “Okay now all you have to do is walk up that little trail with that rope and get a run and start, then hold on tight and fly in the air. When you have reached the middle of the creek you let go and fall in the water, its easy!” Louie looked at the boys, turned around, looked up the high trail and started to climb. Louie was scared but he had to do it, he did a run and start and leaped into the air. He felt so free in the air, like a bird learning to fly, he looked down and saw that is was time to drop. Johnny and the boys yelled worriedly “ Jump, Jump, Jump!!” He suddenly let go of the rope and fell to the water, but when he fell he hit his arm on a tree branch. As Louie swam to the bank he felt pure pain in his arm, it was broken for sure. Johnny and the boys ran to Louie knowing he was hurt, Johnny yelled “Why didnt you jump, you waited to late! Oh, man we are in trouble!” Johnny and the boys helped Louie out, Louie was crying and his arm was all bruised
