Midlife Crisis to Midlife Transformation!

Over a 16 year period, I had experienced 8 major life transitions. I had hit an emotional “rock-bottom!” In my early 50s I realized that a subtle yet dramatic shift was taking place in my life. After decades working in Corporate America and Entrepreneur, I had accumulated the outward material trappings of success and economic status. My internal measurement for purpose, meaning and passion was diminished. What The He.. Happened?

Midlife Crisis led to tobacco and alcohol abuse, over weight with many health challenges. Seeking, praying and hoping for a new beginning, an awakening. A path to a bigger more authentic life. Lost, tired, bewildered and confused, I sought the help of Deanna Poehlman, Career and Life Coach. The first question she asked was; what do you want to do with your life? Transition:
Clear but not! I bought into Deanna’s approach and program for change and deprogramming, away from old and destructive behaviors and thoughts. Vulnerable I let go, and gave myself permission to change and evolve. Letting go of the past, created space for the authentic Max to emerge.

Passion:
New perspective created awakening. Awakening created hope. Hope created motivation. Motivation created passion. Passion created calling, purpose and meaning, to know who I really am NOW. Calling: “When who you are, is the same as what you really want to do with your life.”

Transformation:
Secure in who I am NOW, filled with purpose and meaning, the second prime of life is the best.

At age 58 I made the decision to change and transform my life:
