The Nazis were a party that disliked “perfect” people. The best way to fix this problem in the Nazi’s vision was to get rid of anybody that wasn’t perfect to Nazi standards. This way of trying to fix their problem led to a massive worldwide crisis. During World War II, Nazis used propaganda to push their war efforts. The Nazis manipulated people in many ways which ended up convincing people to support the Nazis instead of doing what was right. Nazis used propaganda to lead people to believe that Jewish people were the root of all of the problems faced by the German people. Goebbels’ job was to monitor all of the propaganda being used by the Nazis. Goebbels controlled all of the radio stations and censored the press to stop them from exposing what was really going on during the Holocaust. “Nazis used all of the available communication channels to get their propaganda out there. (Tonge 18) Nazi propaganda led people to believe that the Jewish people were the reason for all the problems that were faced by the German society. Hitler knew that the only way to get people on his side was by connecting with others on their own personal level. Hitler stated that “Using emotion rather than reason will convince people to share Nazi beliefs” (Wood 44). The Nazis used propaganda to back up all of the horrible things that they had to say about the Jews. Hitler took mean stereotypes of Jewish people and made those stereotypes seem like they were true, by putting them out everywhere. The propaganda portrayed Jews as ugly and immoral, which made “regular” Germans dislike the Jewish people. These posters also praised Hitler.
