To begin with, one of the most concerning dangers of social media is catfishing. Catfishing is the act of creating a false identity for oneself in order to manipulate, or physically injure another person. Online predators use catfishing as a motive for their own satisfaction. They use social media to create false identities. Unfortunately, catfishing mainly leads to negative outcomes. The after-result of catfishing can lead to financial crimes, sexual assaults, and mental or physical abuse.
